Ballina Byron Gateway Airport (BBGA) is a registered COVID Safe Business. The airport continues to work with the airlines and the NSW Government to ensure the safety of passengers, staff and the community.
BBGA follows a range of measures outlined in its COVID Safety Plan. This includes additional cleaning and sanitation, temperature checks, as well as restricting terminal access to passengers and airport staff to maintain social distancing. These measures will continue to be assessed in line with public health orders.
QR Code check in is mandatory in all NSW workplaces and retail businesses. This includes all staff and passengers at the airport.
Face masks in NSW airports and on flights is essential and mandated by NSW Health.
