A. If you have left something on the aircraft you travelled on, please contact the airline you were travelling with directly.

A: The long stay car park is locked between the hours of 9.00pm and 5am with security patrols throughout the night.

A Ballina Byron Gateway Airport terminal is open from 5am to 9pm daily (except from 6pm to 7.30pm).
Q: Are lockers provided in the terminal?
A: No. For security reasons the Airport cannot be responsible for passenger belongings.

Q: How do I obtain the use of a wheel chair?
A: Please contact your airline directly.
Q: What items are prohibited as carry-on luggage on aircraft?
A: There are now increased limitations on the items that are allowed for carriage in the cabin of all aircraft. All knives or cutting implements such as nail scissors and pocket knives or sharp pointed objects are prohibited as carry-on luggage.
Blunt ended or round ended scissors with blades less than 6cm long are not prohibited.

Q: What security screening process do I have to go through at the airport?
A. All passengers departing from Ballina Byron Gateway Airport are required to pass through a stringent security screening process to ensure the safety and efficiency of airport and airline operations.
