What our customers think

Since 2010 we have consulted our customers through an annual passenger survey to better service their needs. In November 2012 this is what they think:

  • 95% of passengers are satisfied with the airport
  • 97% are satisfied with the friendliness and helpfulness of the Airport staff
  • 98% are satisfied with the ease to check in and
  • 96% are satisfied with the ease of access by road.

In supporting our customer needs our Airport vision for 2015 includes:

  • 500,000 passenger numbers per annum and low cost fares
  • Increased frequency of jet flights to Sydney
  • Increase frequency of jet flights to Melbourne
  • Additional destinations
  • Terminal redevelopment and expansion
  • More services in the terminal building – increased retail
  • New entrance / exit to terminal area (new set down area / pick up area)
  • Additional jet parking bays and additional taxiway
  • Additional GA aircraft parking areas and
  • A new Aviation Development Precinct.
